Iraq scores poorly in terms of its government’s practices in conducting transactions with citizens and businesses. Transparency International’s 2008 Corruption Perceptions Index sees this country’s government as being susceptible to corruption.
Iraq is among the bottom three of 180 countries ranked.
GDP for Iraq in 2008 was $113.9 billion, and GDP per capita was $4,000.
Gross national income per capita for Iraq in 2007 was estimated to be between $936 and $3,705.
